DANA Associates recruits for and places sales and sales management professionals in U.S. based or international companies that are either principally headquartered or have regional offices in New England. Within our client organizations, we build strong and cohesive sales teams, supplying talent for a range of positions from mid to senior level sales professionals, top-level VPs, directors, and sales management.

Our expertise is across industries, company size, and culture and provides us with a wealth of resources to offer to both our corporate clients and candidates. While each job opportunity is different, there are some common factors that are indicative of the caliber and types of sales positions for which we recruit.
Most of the sales positions we offer are very consultative in nature, and rely on strong relationship building skills to initiate, maintain, and close the sale. We believe that an ability to establish rapport and keep that relationship alive is frequently the most important characteristic in a salesperson, no matter what the service or product.
Selling a Service/Solution
Many of our positions revolve around selling a sophisticated service, product or technological solution in the B2B marketplace. Even for those positions that are not overly technical, a clear understanding of selling an “intangible” service or product is important. We do not typically have consumer sales positions.
Selling a High Ticket Service
Because many of our sales positions are technical in nature, they frequently involve selling a high-ticket service that may have a long sales cycle.
Contact with Decision Makers
Experience selling to C-level decision makers and director level management is often characteristic of the qualifications looked for in many of our opportunities.
New Business Development
Even in a high level sales position, a strong emphasis is placed on prospecting and generating new accounts. Most sales executives at this level are still relied upon to find leads and develop new business.
