A leading software and solutions provider wanted to expand their SaaS offering and sell directly to the New England region. With headquarters in California and a hiring manager based in New Jersey, their usual approach to filling a remote position included tools like Indeed, LinkedIn, and The Ladders, as well as their own recruiting department. This publically traded firm was unsuccessful in identifying and vetting quality Account Executive candidates. They reached out to DANA as regional sales recruiting experts to find and hire talent to grow the Boston market.

Outcome

Despite the out of state client and hiring manager, our team at DANA immediately commenced a comprehensive business and needs assessment to discover and obtain the relevant and essential information about the company, industry, culture, specific role, and significant details about the desired candidate.

From there, we identified, actively recruited for, and conducted intensive interviews with candidates who had experience selling to their target clientele. We expedited finding an individual who had the desired skills and experience in the industry as well as selling to their target market. Two candidates were presented and our client made an offer to the second candidate. The research, interviews, offer, and placement spanned 30 days, and the Boston area presence was successfully launched.
